Parents are given the responsibility by God to provide a true Christian education for their children every day from birth to maturity (Deuteronomy 6:4–9, Psalm 127:3, Malachi 2:13–16).
Parents are to make the salvation and discipleship of their children the primary goals of their children’s education and training (Psalm 78:1–7, Ephesians 6:4, Matthew 28:19–20).
Parents are to ensure that Jesus Christ is preeminent and the core of their children’s entire education process (Colossians 2:3, 6–10).
Parents are to understand that the education process is not complete until their students have developed a solid biblical worldview and a healthy fear of God (Romans 12:1–2, Philippians 2:5, 2 Corinthians 10:5, Ecclesiastes 12:13).
Parents are not to permit education to be a hindrance to their children’s spiritual, moral, or social development (Matthew 18:6, 19:13–14, Mark 10:13–16, Luke 18:15–17).
